Weddings: Sept. 23, 2012

Myers-Mossbarger

Leslie Myers and W. Nathan Mossbarger were united in marriage on June 9, 2012.

The Pastor Aaron Wheaton officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Margaret Myers and Gary and Debbie Myers. She is a graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School and Indiana State University. She is an Addiction Recovery Specialist at the Wabash Valley Correctional Facility in Carlisle.

The bridegroom is the son of Nancy Mossbarger and Percy Mossbarger. He is a graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School and Southeastern Illinois College. He is a Forester at Kirkham Hardwoods in Terre Haute.

The couple exchanged vows in a private ceremony near their home. A reception followed at the Sullivan Elks, in Sullivan.

The couple went on an Alaskan cruise and now resides in Sullivan County.



Hansel-Phillips

Brad and Megan Phillips were united in marriage May 12, 2012, at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church in Terre Haute.

Family friend, Pastor Rick Swan, officiated the wedding.

Megan’s sister, Julie Bender,  was the honor attendant and Brad’s close friend, Ryan Keys, was the best man.  

Bridesmaids include close friends of bride: Katie Wilson, Ashley Downs, Amber Pitts, and Lyndsey Hendrix. Also sister-in-law, Angi Hansel.  

Brooklyn Jane Bender, niece of the bride, was flower girl.

Groomsman include close friends of bridegroom: Chip Keys and Jared Weber. Also brother of bride, Brady Hansel, brother-in-law of bride, Kyle Bender, and nephew of bride, Coy Avery Bender.

Decker Riley Hansel, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.  

Jared Weber and Nick Henson, both close friends of bridegroom, were ushers. The couple’s parents, Robert and Mary Jane Hansel and Tom and Linda Phillips, were in attendance, giving their blessing to the couple. Megan and Brad honeymooned in Negril, Jamiaca, for one week before returning to Dennison, Ill., where they reside currently.



Krueger-Benefiel

Tiffany Krueger and Billy J. Benefiel were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012, at Faithful Hearts Wedding Chapel.

Faith Maher officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Krueger. She is a graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School and employed by Sony.

Benefiel is employed by Graham Grain.

The bride was given in marriage her father.

Emily Petrowski, sister of the bride, was honor attendant. Tabitha Lemay, friend of the bride, was bridesmaid.

David Petrowski, brother-in-law of the bride, was best man.

Josie and Jamesy Benefiel, daughters of the bridegroom, were flower girls.

Jabin Petrowski, nephew of bride, was ring bearer.

A reception took place at MCL Banquet Center.

The honor attendant hosted a shower at Wesleyan Church.

The couple took a wedding trip to Tennessee and now reside in Terre Haute.
