Weddings published Dec. 13, 2009

Dodson-Hensley

Leslie Dodson, daughter of LaVonne and Robert Dodson of Center Point, and Joshua Hensley, son of Terry and Amy Hensley of Rockville, were married Sept. 19, 2009, in Centenary United Methodist Church at Terre Haute.

The double ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Jeff Bridgewater.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Northview High School in Brazil, a 2006 graduate of Indiana University with a master of public administration degree. She was a financial analyst for the U.S. General Services Administration in Washington, D.C., prior to the wedding.

The bridegroom is a 2000 homeschool graduate, and attended Indiana State University before joining the U.S. Marine Corps Infantry. After serving three combat tours in Iraq, he is the chief assault climbing instructor for the Special Operations Training Group at Camp Pendleton.

Libby Dupin, was honor attendant. Eran Todd, sister of the bridegroom, and Kassia Perpich, were bridesmaids.

Jesse Hensley, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Denny Todd, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and Steve Dodson, brother of the bride, were groomsmen.

Makalee Todd, daughter of Eran and Denny Todd, and Kaylee Dupin, daughter of Libby and Matt Dupin, were flower girls.

Devlin Todd, nephew of the bridegroom, was the ring bearer.

Cpl. Denny Todd, 2nd Lt. Steve Dodson, Sgt. Jay Richardson and Sgt. Steven Thornbloom participated in the Marine Arch of Swords ceremony.

An outdoor reception took place at the home of the bridegroom’s parents.

The couple reside in Bonsall, Calif.



Bailey-Stewart

Mary Ann Bailey and Michael Stewart were united in marriage July 11, 2009, in First Baptist Church of West Terre Haute.

The Rev. Jeffrey Augustus officiated. Joyce Augustus provided piano music.

The bride is the daughter of Mary Lee and Charles Bailey. She is a graduate of Northland International University and a certified nuclear pharmacy technician with Cardinal Health Nuclear Pharmacy Services.

The bridegroom is the son of Vangie and Estel Stewart Sr. He is employed by Great Dane Trailers.

Elizabeth Randolph, sister of the bride, was honor attendant. Stephanie Augustus and Becky Lehman were bridesmaids.

Whitney Bailey, Caydance McIntyre and Madison Randolph, nieces of the bride and bridegroom, were flower girls.

Estel Stewart Jr., brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Jason McIntyre, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and Steve Young, cousin of the bridegroom, were groomsmen.

Aiden Bailey and Caleb Randolph, nephews of the bride, were ring bearers.

Von Meadlo and Victor Price, cousins of the bridegroom, were ushers.

Gwen McIntyre, sister of the bridegroom, was vocalist. Sonia Cuadrado read scripture.

A reception followed in the church.

The couple took a wedding trip to Brown County and now reside in Terre Haute.



Rickman-Ralston

Susan Rickman and Bruce Eric Ralston were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Dec. 12, 2009, in The Church at Main at Brownsburg.

The Rev. Rodney Rice officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Willie Joe and Nancy Rickman of Goshen and the late Maxine Rickman.

Ralston is the son of Marjorie Ralston of Terre Haute and the late Kermit Ralston.

A reception followed in the church.
