Weddings: Nov. 1, 2009

Thomson-Yocum

Leslie Thomson and Jeffery Yocum, both of Farmersburg, were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2009, in Eastside Church of Christ in Terre Haute.

The Rev. Eddie Myers officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Brenda and Cameron Thomson of Terre Haute. She is employed by the Vigo County School Corp.

The bridegroom is the son of Carolyn Jean Yocum of Effingham, Ill., and the late Earl Yocum. He is employed by Sycamore Chevrolet in Terre Haute.

Kristee LaVallie of Valparaiso was honor attendant. Angela LaVallie of Shawnee, Kan., and Courtney Newport and Wesley Clarke, both of Terre Haute, were bridesmaids.

Claudia Whitlow of Indianapolis was flower girl.

Tom Yocum of Effingham was best man.

Russell Powell of Effingham, and Wesley Boggs and Cameron Thomson, both of Terre Haute, were groomsmen.

Colin Boggs, Jeff Gindhart and Christopher Kelley, all of Terre Haute, were ushers.

William “Owen” Louk of Terre Haute was ring bearer. Debbie Evans of Terre Haute was guest book attendant.



Anderson-Cook

Kathy Anderson and Ed Cook, both of Terre Haute, were united in marriage on Monday, Oct. 5, 2009, in the Flamingo Hotel Wedding Chapel at Las Vegas.

The Rev. Nathan Ward of Las Vegas officiated. The bride sang “Draw Me Close” as the couple entered the chapel.

Vanessa Dittmann, daughter of the bride, was honor attendant. Thomas Price was best man.

The couple now reside in West Terre Haute.



Jones-Alley

Sherri Jones and Paul Alley were united in marriage on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, in the Zion Lippe Church of Christ in Mount Vernon.

A reception followed in the Convention Center in Evansville. A second reception took place Saturday, Oct. 31, in The Ohio Building in Terre Haute.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Marshall of Plainfield and a vice president of the Integra Bank in Evansville.

The bridegroom is the son of Zianna Alley of Terre Haute and the late R. Richard Alley. He is a partner in the Orthopedic Associates in Evansville.
