Wedding: Aug. 22, 2010

McKinney-Isbell

Danielle Christine McKinney and John “Wes” Isbell were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. June 12, 2010, in the First Baptist Church at Shelburn.

The Rev. Fred Harrison officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Kristi and Don Penn of Terre Haute, a 2004 graduate of Northview High School in Brazil, and a 2008 graduate of Indiana State University with a degree in exercise science. She is a personal trainer at the Center for Fitness and Performance at Union Hospital.

Isbell is the son of Donna and Steve Isbell of West Terre Haute, a 2003 graduate of West Vigo High School, and a 2007 graduate of Indiana State University with a degree in mechanical engineering technology. He is a partner with Supreme Heating & Cooling Co. Inc.

The bride was given in marriage by her mother.

Rayetta Gillaspy and Ashley Eads were honor attendants. Mallory Lopeman, Mikaila Kelley and Kristen Isbell were bridesmaids. Kendell Kelley was junior bridesmaid.

Lisa Milner, Jacee Cottrell and Greta Isbell were flower girls.

Josh Brackall and Zack Thralls were best men. Chad Hunter, Pat Dillard and Matt Isbell were groomsmen. Aaron Milner was junior groomsman.

Brayden Scott was ring bearer.

An outdoor reception followed at the home of the bridegroom’s parents.

The couple took a wedding trip to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic and now reside in Farmersburg.

May-Lepley

Melissa May and John Lepley of Terre Haute were united in marriage at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 10, 2010, in St. Joseph University Parish.

The Rev. Richard Kaley officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Terri and James May of West Terre Haute. She teaches for the Vigo County School Corp. at West Vigo High School in West Terre Haute.

Lepley is the son of David Lepley of Jennerstown, Penn., and Donna Deck of Derry, N.H. He is employed by the U.S. Census Bureau.

Christina Kersey, sister of the bride, was honor attendant. Sarah Rees and Megan Clinkenbeard were bridesmaids.

Mark Kernan was best man. Joshua Brooks and Jeremy Olivas were groomsmen.

Nephews of the bride, Aaron and Ethan Kersey, were ring bearers. 

Katherine Lepley, sister of the bridegroom, and Joshua Kersey, brother in-law of the bride, were readers. 

Pete Belser, Matt Rees and Mark Shaw were ushers.

A reception followed in LeFer Hall at St. Mary-of-the-Woods College. Another reception in Jennerstown, Penn., was hosted by the bridegroom’s father and sister.

The couple took wedding trips to Chicago and Pennsylvania.

Baxter-Overpeck

Jessica Baxter and Ryan Overpeck were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. May 15, 2010, in O’Shaughnessy Hall in Providence Center at St. Mary-of-the-Woods.

Brad Bumgardner officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Karen and Gene Baxter of Rockville. She is a 2007 graduate of Rockville High School and is majoring in nursing at Indiana State University.

Overpeck is the son of Sherry and Tim Overpeck of Dana. He is a 2002 graduate of South Vermillion High School in Clinton and a 2009 graduate of Butler University in Indianapolis with a doctorate of pharmacology. He is a pharmacist for CVS.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Jaclyn Baxter, sister of the bride, was honor attendant. Jacqueline Huxford, Ellen Lunsford, Rachel Jackson and Megan Porter were bridesmaids.

Barry Overpeck, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Jeff and Nick Reed, Greg Watts and Shaun Sanquenetti were groomsmen.

Riley Baxter, Evan Lunsford and Cory Delp were ushers. Jossie Huxford and Kenley Shoults were flower girls.

Brayson Shoults was ring bearer.

Carson Cox and Noah Quraish were bell ringers. Kemp Harper was guest book attendant.

A dinner and dance reception followed in O’Shaughnessy Hall.

Wedding showers were hosted by the bridesmaids and by Joanie Lunsford, aunt of the bride.

The couple took a wedding trip to Jamaica and now reside in Clinton.

Hunter-Cimarossa

Shelley Marie Hunter of Foley, Ala., and Nicholas James Cimarossa, of Slidell, La., and formerly of Terre Haute, were united in marriage on June 26, 2010, in the Hotel Magnolia at Foley.

The bride is the daughter of Ms. Lisa Hunter of Foley and Mr. Gaston Eric Hunter of Orange Beach, Ala. She is a graduate of Foley High School and Troy University, and is employed by Correct Care Inc. in Covington, La.

Cimarossa is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Kleingartner of Terre Haute and Mr. James Cimarossa of Pleasant Plains, Ill. He is a graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School and a Petty Officer 2nd Class in the U.S. Coast Guard, MSST Station in New Orleans.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

Jennifer Phillips, sister of the bride, was honor attendant. Darcy Vest, sister of the bridegroom, and Amber Jemison, Whitney Suarez, Bonnie Bardy and Brittany Callahan were bridesmaids.

Petty Officer 2nd Class Scott Phillips, brother-in-law of the bride, was best man. Mark Cimarossa and Sean Kleingartner, brothers of the bridegroom, Jason Vest, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and Jeff Stinson and Jon Warner were groomsmen.

Petty Officer 3rd Class Rob Zaabel, Petty Officer 2nd Class Jeremy Kay, and Evan and Ryan Kleingartner, nephews of the bridegroom, were ushers.

Caitlyn Phillips, niece of the bride, and Jordan and Peyton Vest, nieces of the bridegroom, were flower girls.

Christian and Colton Phillips, nephews of the bride, were ring bearers.

Sara Wells, the best man’s mother, was wedding director.

A reception followed in Orange Beach Community Center at Orange Beach, Ala.

The couple took a wedding trip to Costa Rica and now reside in Slidell.
