Weddings: Sept. 30, 2012

Jeffers-Shane

Julie Ellen Jeffers, formerly of Terre Haute, and Grant Matthew Shane of Imler, Penn., were united in marriage on Aug. 11, 2012, at McCormick’s Creek State Park, near Spencer, Ind.

Julie is the daughter of Glenn and Ellen Jeffers of Florida. She attended Terre Haute South Vigo High School, Ivy Tech Community College and Florida Hospital College.

Grant is the son of Laverne and Helen Shane of Pennsylvania and is pursuing a Ph.D from Purdue University.



Wilkins-Nestler

Pamela Sue Wilkins and Chad Alan Nestler were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. on June 16, 2012, in Northside Church of Christ.

Jerimi Myers officiated.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Sherman and Carolyn Wilkins of Terre Haute. She is a graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School and is employed by Brenntag.

Nestler is the son of Rose and Dave Bowerly and Scott and Debbie Nestler, all of Clinton. He is a graduate of South Vermillion High School and is employed by Bemis Co. Inc.

The bride was given in marriage by Tyler Weishaupt, son of the bride.

Stephanie Weishaupt, daughter of the bride, was honor attendant.

Kathy Stone, sister of the bride, and Heather Fagg, niece of the bride, were bridesmaids.

Ernie Simpson, friend of the bridegroom, was best man. AJ Reynolds, friend of the bridegroom, and Donnie Norman, brother of the bridegroom, were groomsmen.

Paul Stone, brother-in-law of the bride, and David “Buddy” Smith, cousin of the bridegroom, were ushers.

Savannah Wilkins, niece of the bride, was flower girl. Eli Wilkins, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.

Sandy Wilkins was guest book attendant. Della Weishaupt was coordinator. Cullen, Jayden and Owen Weishaupt assisted with the carpet runner and bubbles.

A dinner and dance reception followed in Kriestenstein American Legion Post 104. Marilyn Bedwell, Mandy Wilkins, Jackie Bedwell, Kathy Stone, Brenda Fagg and Cullen Weishaupt assisted with the reception.

Stephanie Weishaupt, Kathy Stone and Heather Fagg hosted a wedding shower.

The couple took a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., and Myrtle Beach, S.C., and now reside in Terre Haute.
