Betsy Ummel and Tony McMichael were united in marriage on Nov. 12, 2011, in St. John’s Lutheran Church at Bloomington, Ill.  

The Rev. James Reents officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Kim and Rodney Ummel of Cooksville, Ill. She is a 2010 graduate of Butler University and is employed by Walgreens in Brazil.

McMichael is the son of Penny and Mark McMichael of Center Point. He is a 2005 graduate of Indiana State University and is employed by NGC Corp. in Indianapolis.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Maggie Edwards was honor attendant. Bridemaids were Sarah Glass, Maura Styczynski, Megan Schwegel and Reva Oellig.

Brian Payne was best man. Groomsmen were Nick Davis, Dustin Houck, Jake Zoss and Chad Goze. Gerald Mears and Paul Plowman were ushers.

Flower girl was Morgan Oellig. Guest Book attendants were Carly Northcutt, Cassie and Amy Stemm.

The reception took place in the Brown Ballroom at Illinois State University. The couple took a wedding trip to Napa Valley and now reside in Cloverdale.
