Gedemer-Meneghini

Sarah Kirt Gedemer and Dr. R. Michael Meneghini were united in marriage at 5 p.m. on Nov. 11, 2011, in the Ritz Carlton Hotel at Miami Beach, Fla.

The bride is the daughter of Paul and Laurine Gedemer of Noblesville. She is a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a degree in chemistry and a systems analyst for Dow Chemical.

The bridegroom is the son of Michael and Nancy Farr and the late Angelo Meneghini Jr. He is a graduate of Rose-Hulman School of Technology with a degree in civil engineering, and Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. After his residency, he completed a fellowship in adult hip and knee reconstruction at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. He is the director of orthopedics at IU Health Saxony Hospital, and sees patients at Providence Medical Center in Terre Haute.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

The bride’s attendants were sisters of the bride, Tricia Franciosi and Heidi Goodnight, and sister of the bridegroom, Lori Farr Diemer. Cecilia Meneghini, daughter of the bridegroom, was junior bridesmaid.

The bridegroom’s attendants were Chris Farr, brother of the bridegroom, and Art Mafale and Brad Bolinger. Ethan Meneghini, son of the bridegroom, was junior groomsman.

Elizabeth Farr, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, was a reader.

A dinner and dance reception followed in the Ritz Carlton ballroom.

The couple took a wedding trip to Jamaica.
