Jeanna Lynn Emert and John Siler Kinnebrew were united in marriage on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, in The Cannery Ballroom at Nashville, Tenn.

Lyndsey G. Godwin, master of divinity, officiated. Quinn Matthews and Channing Lee provided the processional music.

The bride is the daughter of Ken and Linda Emert of Midland, Texas, and Emily Lynn Walker of Nashville. She is a 2001 graduate of Harvard University and holds an honors degree in history. She is a development officer for Alive Hospice in Nashville.

The bridegroom is the son of Cynthia and George Kinnebrew of Terre Haute. He is a 2001 graduate of Harvard with a degree in computer science, and is pursuing his Ph.D. in computer science at Vanderbilt University.

Susan Patrick Harris was honor attendant. Carolyn Edrington, Melicia Laroco, Lindsey Seger and Virginia Ramseyer Winter were bridesmaids.

Damon I. Rainie was best man. Daniel Rhodes and Thomas and Garrett Kinnebrew, brothers of the bridegroom, were groomsmen. Rachel E. Sexton also served as the bridegroom’s honor attendant. 

The couple took a wedding trip to Boston and Cambridge, Mass., and now reside in Nashville.
