Nicoson-Lewellyn


Melinda Kay Nicoson and John Andrews Lewellyn, both of West Terre Haute, were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, 2007, in Terre Haute.

Vigo County Clerk Patricia Mansard officiated.

The bride is the daughter of James Webster and Sally Webster of Terre Haute. She graduated from Indiana State University with a bachelor of science degree. She is an art teacher at Woodrow Wilson Middle School.

The bridegroom is the son of Wilma Lewellyn of Terre Haute and the late Richard Lewellyn. He is pursuing a bachelor of science degree in electronics at Indiana State University. He served in the Indiana Air National Guard and is employed by Mason and Hanger in Newport.

The couple plans a wedding trip to Jamaica in April and now reside in West Terre Haute.



Barrett-Eastham


Kourtney Amber Barrett and Nicholas Craig Eastham were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 6, 2007, in Eastside Church of Christ in Terre Haute.

The Rev. Abe Miller officiated. Soloist Ebony Eskridge provided music. Jen Killion, cousin of the bride, was scripture reader.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kirby Barrett of Brazil. She is a 2002 graduate of Clay City High School and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Indiana. She is a resident director while pursuing a master’s degree at Western Kentucky University.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Eastham of Sturgis, Ky. He is a 2000 graduate of Union County High School and a graduate of Kentucky Wesleyan. He is a social studies teacher at Hopkins Central High School.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Jaclyn Barrett, sister of the bride, was honor attendant. Emily Rauscher, Jamie Jordan and Amanda Mullins were bridesmaids. Macy Cottrell, cousin of the bride, was junior bridesmaid.

Dustin Eastham, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Kasey and Kelly Sanders, cousins of the bridegroom, Joe Askew, and Sean Bingham were groomsmen.

Marshall Cottrell, cousin of the bride, and Nathaniel Bell, cousin of the bridegroom, were ushers.

Madison Griggs, cousin of the bride, was flower girl. Ethan Griggs and Andrew Schneider, cousins of the bride, were ring bearers.

Autumn and Lucas Collins, cousins of the bride, were guest book attendants.

A dinner and dance reception followed in Stables Steakhouse in Terre Haute.

A dinner was hosted by the bridegroom’s family after the wedding rehearsal.

A kitchen shower was given by the bridegroom’s aunt in Kentucky. The bride’s church family honored the couple with a congregational shower and dinner. The bride’s sister hosted a personal shower in the Best Western conference room.

The couple took a wedding trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, and now reside in Bowling Green, Ky.



Hoxworth-Thompson


Emily Lynn Hoxworth and Timothy Alan Thompson were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 4, 2007, in Agape Christian Church.

The Rev. Shan Smith, youth pastor of the church, officiated. Chris Benefield, pianist, and Heather Akers, soloist, provided the music. Brianna Stewart was scripture reader.

The bride is the daughter of J. Frank and Patricia Hoxworth of Terre Haute. She is a 2003 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School and a December 2007 graduate of Indiana State University with a degree in business administration.

The bridegroom is the son of Randall and Amy Thompson of Terre Haute. He is a 2003 graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School and a May 2007 graduate of Purdue University with a degree in building construction management. He also is a project engineer with Messer Construction in Indianapolis.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Jackie Wenzel was honor attendant. Helen Jones and Ashley Bonte were bridesmaids.

Matthew Keller was best man. Jacob Thompson, Jon Kluesner and Jared Redelman were groomsmen.

Aaron Burk, David Petrowski and Matthew and Joshua Hoxworth were ushers.

Brittany Ely and Katelyn Deal were flower girls. Schyler Smith was ring bearer.

Haley Benefiel, Brittly Stewart and Alexander Roberts were guest book attendants.

An hors d’oeuvres and dance reception followed in the Country Club of Terre Haute.

Ladies of Agape Christian Church hosted a shower in the church.

The couple took a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, and now reside in Indianapolis.
