ANNIVERSARIES: Aug. 7, 2011

Mr. and Mrs. Earl VanScoyk

Mr. and Mrs. Earl VanScoyk of Terre Haute and formerly of Leesburg, Fla., will celebrate their 69th wedding anniversary at home with family.

Cards are welcome and may be sent to 2136 W. Hudson Drive, Terre Haute, IN 47802.

The VanScoyks were married Aug. 10, 1942, in Greenup, Ill.

Mrs. VanScoyk, the former Mary Gilbert, worked at the former Schultz and Co. and Indiana State University Bookstore.

VanScoyk retired as a conductor from Conrail Railroad.

The couple have two daughters, Linda Anderson and husband Darrell of Terre Haute, and the late Sharla VanScoyk. They also have two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
