Mr. and Mrs. Alfred L. Cox

Mr. and Mrs. Alfred L. Cox will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Friday, Feb. 11, 2011.

The couple were married Feb. 11, 1951, in the Locust Street United Brethren Church in Terre Haute by the Rev. James W. Davis.

Mrs. Cox, the former Frances Crowell, worked for Terre Haute First National Bank and the Vigo County School Corp.

Cox is retired after 38 years with the Burroughs Corp.

The couple have one son, Dave W. Cox and wife Linda. They also have two grandchildren.
