Mr. and Mrs. Gerry A. Schultz

Mr. and Mrs. Gerry A. Schultz will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011, in Union United Methodist Church at Brazil.

Friends and relatives are invited. It is requested that gifts be omitted but cards are welcome. 

The Schultzes were married Nov. 18, 1961, in Brazil by William A. Thomas. Mrs. Schultz, the former Bonnie Stough, is retired from Armour-Swift Eckrich. Schultz is retired from Allison Transmission.

The couple have three children, Gary Kevin Schultz and wife Pam of Elizabeth, Colo.; and Mark Schultz and wife Sara and Mendy Litz and husband Shane, both of Brazil. They also have seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald C. Barnett

Mr. and Mrs. Donald C. Barnett of Terre Haute will observe their 35th wedding anniversary Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011.

Don is surprising Ann with a trip to Maui in February.

The Barnetts were married Nov. 13, 1976, in First Baptist Church at Terre Haute.

Mrs. Barnett, the former Ann Marie Bonar, is a registered nurse at Union Hospital.

Barnett is a letter carrier with the United States Postal Service.

The couple have four children, Jennifer Harrah and husband James, D.J. Barnett and wife Jessie, Craig Barnett and wife Sarah, and Drew Barnett. They also have four grandchildren, Jack, Joel, Harrah, Afton and Elliott Barnett.

Mr. and Mrs. Barry Johnson

Mr. and Mrs. Barry Johnson of Farmersburg will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011, in the Shady Oak Village Club House.

Friends and relatives are invited. Cards are welcome and may be sent to 11605 N. County Road 25 West, Farmersburg, IN 47850.

The Johnsons were married Nov. 15, 1986, in Terre Haute Bible Center by the Rev. Robert Woolley. Mrs. Johnson, the former Kara Johnson, is a homemaker. Johnson is employed by MBS Genetics in Story City, Iowa.

Hosts will be their children, Brooke and Cullen Johnson, both of Farmersburg, as well as his parents, Ann and Larry Johnson, and her mother, Kathryn Johnson.

Mr. and Mrs. James Kinkade

Mr. and Mrs. James Kinkade celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, in Idle Creek Banquet Center.

The couple were married Nov. 4, 1961, in Maplewood Christian Church at Terre Haute.

Mrs. Kinkade is the former Barbara Treadway. Both are retired from Indiana State University.

Event hosts were the couple’s children, Kelley Bieghler and husband Jackie; and Douglas Kinkade and wife Heidi. The couple also have five grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Vrabic

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Vrabic of Terre Haute observed their 25th wedding anniversary on May 10, 2011. They celebrated in June with a trip to Melbourne, Fla.

The Vrabics were married May 10, 1986, in United Methodist Temple in Terre Haute.

Mrs. Vrabic, the former Barbara Jackson, is a registered nurse at Union Hospital. Vrabic co-owns Vrabic Car Center.

The couple have two children, Ryan Vrabic of Nashville, Tenn., and Nicholas Vrabic of Richmond, Ky.

Mr. and Mrs. John R. White

Mr. and Mrs. John R. White of Rockville will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011, in Clark’s Reception Hall, 2155 E. U.S. Highway 36, Rockville.

Friends and relatives are invited.

The couple were married Nov. 24, 1946, in Marshall Baptist Church by the Rev. William Ketner.

Mrs. White, the former Jane McCampbell, is a retired teacher from Turkey Run High School. White is a retired engineer from Indiana State University.

The couple have four children, Elizabeth Frank of Chicago; John Robert White of Anchorage, Alaska; Barbara White of Portland, Maine; and Mary Delaney of Carmel. They also have eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
