Marian Nicole Roberts and Robert Joseph Adams of Houston will be united in marriage Jan. 6, 2012, at The Grove in Houston.
The prospective bridegroom’s parents will host a reception for friends and relatives on March 24 in their St. Mary’s residence.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Madeline Nugent of Clear Lake, Texas, and Thomas Roberts of Deer Park, Texas. She is a 1999 graduate of Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas, with a bachelor of arts degree in business, and a 2011 graduate of Benedictine University in Lisle, Ill., with a master of business administration. She is a regional account supervisor at Zimmerman Advertising.
Adams is the son of Marsha and James Adams of Terre Haute. He is a 2001 graduate of Purdue University in West Lafayette with a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering and a 2006 graduate of the University of South Carolina in Columbia, S.C., with an international MBA. He is a supply chain manager at Chevron USA.
