Weddings: March 29, 2009

Cummins-Nichols


Katherine Therese Cummins and John Scott Nichols were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 8, 2008, in Meridian Street United Methodist Church at Indianapolis.

Dr. Charles Ballard and the Rev. Danny Walker officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Nancy and Tom Cummins of Terre Haute. She is a 2006 graduate of Butler University in Indianapolis with a bachelor’s degree in biology, and attends Indiana University School of Dentistry.

The bridegroom is the son of Patricia and John Nichols of Indianapolis. He is a 2003 graduate of Butler University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, and is employed by Palmer Trucks of Indianapolis.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Ellie Cummins, sister of the bride, was honor attendant. Ashley Pharis, Kira McCoy, Brittany Broederdorf and Jessi Green were bridesmaids.

Jacob Nichols, the brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Adam Stankewiccz, Ryan Haas, Brian Englum and John Cummins, brother of the bride, were groomsmen.

Zach Held, Matthew Tait and Rob Pritchard were ushers.

Lucy Pritchard and Kylee Nichols were flower girls.

A reception followed in the Indiana State Museum at Indianapolis. The couple took a wedding trip to Walloon Lake Michigan and now reside in Indianapolis.
