Long-Ribolla


Mandy Jo Long and James Daniel Ribolla were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. April 5, 2008, in Casa Urbana in the Ohio Building at Terre Haute.

The Rev. Mark Fleschner officiated. Pianist and vocalist Joyce Jensen of Terre Haute and trumpeter James Chesterson of Terre Haute provided music.

The bride is the daughter of Pamela Jacks of Terre Haute. She is a 1996 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School, a 2000 graduate of Indiana University and a 2005 graduate of Ball State University with a master’s degree in special education. She is a special education teacher for the Vigo County School Corp.

Ribolla is the son of Janis and Michael Ribolla of Granger, Ind., and formerly of Terre Haute. He is a 1996 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School and attended Indiana University. He is a patrolman for the Terre Haute Police Department.

The bride was given in marriage by her mother and grandparents James and Jody Jacks.

Christina Baker of Winnetka, Ill., was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Jessica Cooper of Terre Haute, sister of the bride; Amy Bryant of Terre Haute, cousin of the bride; Jennifer Jensen of Chicago; and Amanda Walker of San Francisco.

Joshua Ribolla of Farmington Hills, Mich., brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen were Jonathan Bohlander of Oak Park, Ill., Joshua Dowell of Indianapolis; Stephen Lockard of Terre Haute; and Jason Kraus of Indianapolis. Tate Cooper, nephew of the bride, was junior groomsman.

Christopher Ellis and Jeremy Sheeder, both of Terre Haute, were ushers. Taylor Cooper, niece of the bride, was flower girl.

Mary Ferren of Terre Haute was a reader and said a prayer for the couple.

A dinner and dance reception followed in the Ohio Building Meeting and Banquet Center in Terre Haute.

The couple took a wedding trip to Aruba and now reside in Terre Haute.

Mowery-Spade


Chasity Ann Mowery and Tony Ryan Spade were united in marriage during a candlelight ceremony Feb. 16, 2008, in Shelburn First Baptist Church at Shelburn.

Jim Petty officiated. Tom Tribe provided music on his dulcimer.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

The bride is the daughter of Char Lene C. Mowery and Bobby S. Mowery of Jasonville.

Spade is the son of Sarah York Spade and Tony and Tonya Spade, all of Robinson, Ill.

Abigail Schaffer was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Lauren Spade, sister of the bridegroom; Jessica Pickett, cousin to the bride; Cortney Fry, cousin to the bride; and Jami Houch and Amanda Mikeworth. Theresa Rennick and Ashley Hardiman, cousin of the bridegroom were personal assistants.

Matt Johnson was best man. Groomsman were J.B. Holmes; Calvin Murray; Brian York, cousin of the bridegroom; Riley Gullett; and an open space was left in memory of Justin Mowery, brother of the bride, who passed away prior to the wedding.

Clint Fry, cousin of the bride, and Carter Steffey were ushers.

A bubble shower followed the ceremony outside the church. Photos were taken by Terry Smith of Linton.

A reception followed at the Sullivan Elks Club. The cake was made by Kim Hux of Dugger.

Scott Biddle of Sullivan introduced the couple at the reception and was the music and karaoke disc jockey.

The couple will take a wedding cruise through the Bahamas in July.



Hennessy-Gillum


Nancy and John Hennessy of Gallatin, Tenn., and formerly of Terre Haute announce the marriage of their daughter, Sarah Suzanne Hennessy, to Gary Kent Gillum Jr. of Hendersonville, Tenn.

The couple exchanged vows on Saturday, May 31, 2008, during an outdoor ceremony at the home of the bridegroom’s mother in Kingston Springs, Tenn.

A brass quartet provided music.

The bride is a 1996 graduate of Gallatin High School and attended Middle Tennessee State University and Volunteer State Community College. She is employed by Design 2000 in Goodlettsville, Tenn.

Gillum is the son of Brenda and Chris McDonald of Kingston Springs, Tenn., and Gary and Marie Gillum of Donelson, Tenn. He attended Middle Tennessee State University and works in the music industry in Nashville, Tenn.

The couple now reside in Hendersonville, Tenn.
