Barnett-Marshall


Andrea M. Barnett and James O. Marshall Jr., both of Terre Haute, were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. March 15, 2008, in the Rio Grande Baptist Church.

The Rev. Richard Swan officiated.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She was escorted by her father.

The bride is the daughter of Victoria and Todd Barnett. She is a 2001 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School and an office manager at Mattingly Collision Center.

The bridegroom is the son of Lou and James Marshall of Terre Haute. He is a 1998 graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School and a bartender at Malloy’s.

Raquel Wilson, cousin of the bridegroom, was honor attendant. Julie and Nicole VanGilder, and Brandy Clark, all cousins of the bride, and Laura Vaughn, were bridesmaids.

Bobby Cox was best man. Anthony Barnett, brother of the bride, Robert Jeffrey, cousin of the bridegroom, Bobby Brown, and Todd Vlahos were groomsmen.

Charles Gilbert and Jeremy Corne were ushers and candlelighters.

Riliegh Marshall, daughter of the bridegroom, was flower girl. Nicholas Casad, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.

The wedding included a ring ceremony for the bridegroom’s daughter, to include her as part of their being united in marriage.

Nicole Stewart was guest book attendant.

Flowers, church, wedding and reception decorations were designed by Ella Martin, the bridegroom’s aunt; mother of the bride; and Tammy Clark, Misty Gilbert, Emilee Barnett and Julie VanGilder.

A buffet reception followed in the Sandcut firehouse. Tammy Clark and Emilee Barnett, both aunts of the bride, along with Kyle Barnett, uncle of the bride, Kourtney Barnett, cousin of the bride and Retta Jarvis, aunt of the bridegroom, assisted with the reception.

Ryan Johnson, disc jockey, provided music.

A wedding shower was given by the honor attendant.

The couple took a wedding trip to Las Vegas and now reside in Terre Haute.



Morgan-Stephens


Sonya Morgan of Marshall, Ill., and Dustin Stephens of Martinsville, Ill., were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Dec. 15, 2007, in Highland Church of Christ in Robinson, Ill.

Randall Sweitzer officiated. Vocalist Mary Brackall and pianist Kevin Carpenter provided music.

The bride is the daughter of Linda and Rob Morgan of Marshall. She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Stephens is the son of Roberta and Martin Stephens of Martinsville. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Inge Neibarger was honor attendant. Laci Walton was bridesmaid.

Rodney Stephens was best man. Bart Morgan, brother of the bridegroom, was groomsman.

Rachel and Cailin Morris were flower girls. Patrick Morris was ring bearer.

Brandon Daugherty, Bryan and Dustin Reed, both cousins of the bride, were ushers.

A reception followed in the Elks Lodge in Robinson.

The couple plan to take a trip on their one-year anniversary.
