Megan Risinger and Chad Talpas will be united in marriage on May 22, 2010, in St. Mark United Methodist Church at Carmel.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Rick and Jane Risinger of Westfield, Ind. She is a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in sport science, and a compliance and wellness coordinator for Conner Insurance in Indianapolis.
Talpas is the son of Penny and Mark Talpas of Terre Haute and a graduate of Indiana State University with a bachelor of science degree in economics. He is employed by Forum Credit Union in Indianapolis.
Luann Rose Modesitt and Kurt William Baer, both of Terre Haute, will be united in marriage on July 17, 2010, in Central Presbyterian Church.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Kathryn and Richard Modesitt of Terre Haute and a graduate of Indiana State University with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education. She is employed by the Vigo County School Corp.
Baer is the son of Kimberly Baer of Terre Haute and the late Col. Peter Baer. He will graduate in May from Indiana State University with a bachelor of arts degree in music.
