Lincoln Trail College to offer dog obedience workshops

ROBINSON, Ill. — Lincoln Trail College will offer puppy and dog obedience workshops starting this month.

Puppy Socialization, for animals 2 to 8 months old, will meet from 6 to 6:45 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays, Sept. 9 through Oct. 4. Cost is $50.

Basic Dog Obedience, for animals 8 months old and older, will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays, Sept. 9 through Oct. 4. Cost is $50.

Both classes will meet in Industrial Annex Room 104.

Dogs must have proof of rabies vaccine, wear collars and have a 6-foot nylon or leather leash. Handlers must be at least 12 years old. Walking, kneeling and bending are required of handlers. Only one handler per dog.
