I got a cookbook in Princeton, Ill., this past summer when we went to visit our friends, Don and Amanda Condit and also Bill and Eileen Knapp. We had a girls’ day out and went to Princeton. It’s a neat town, filled with antiques stores. We had a lot of fun looking and not buying.
Amanda and Eileen know I love cookbooks, and so here I am with “More Pantry Treasurers from Ohio Council of Catholic Women.” With Christmas coming, we can’t forget the kids, young and old alike. Just make these ahead and keep in a container to use as needed. Thanks, Eileen and Amanda.
Large Batch Hot Chocolate
20 quarts instant powdered milk
1 lb. box powered sugar
2 lbs. can Nestle chocolate
16 oz. Coffee Mate or 20 oz. Cremora
• Mix all together. Store in container. Use 2-3 heaping tablespoons or as desired per cup.
• Fill with hot water.
• Try something different, use flavored Cremora, that is if the kids like that flavor.
