Martha Jean Glascock of rural Kingman will celebrate her 90th birthday on Tuesday.

A celebration with family is planned later this month.

It is requested that gifts be omitted but cards and notes are welcome and may be mailed to 2652 S. 170 West, Kingman, IN 47952.

Bradley Owens Sr. celebrated his 100th birthday with a dinner party hosted by his family at the home of his daughter, Wynona Batton. He was born in Hopkinsville, Ky., on Nov. 12, 1912. At the age of 7 he moved with his family to Terre Haute. He was married to Ruth (Underwood) for 65 years before she died in 2000.

He has one son, Bradley Jr. of Avon; and two daughters, Carolyn (Smith) and Wynona (Batton), both of Terre Haute. He has many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

The celebration of songs, readings, special memories, jokes, poems, etc., which were performed by those attending, added to the fun. Owens also contributed by singing two of his favorite hymns.

Cards and memory notes are welcome and may be sent to 6369 E. Trout Ave., Terre Haute, IN, 47805.

Dorothy M. Clark will celebrate her 95th birthday on Nov. 29, 2012. She would welcome cards.

Clark retired from the Vigo County Recorder’s Office in 1979. She and her late husband, Paul, were owners of Paul’s Tire Shop in West Terre Haute.

Her address is Cobblestone Crossings, 1850 E. Howard Wayne Drive, Terre Haute, IN 47802.
