Tamzin Rose Kinnebrew and Joseph Nelson Kinnett were united in marriage on July 22, 2012, in First Presbyterian Church in Durham, N.C.
The Rev. Marilyn Hedgpeth officiated.
The bride is the daughter of George and Cynthia Kinnebrew of Terre Haute. She is a 1999 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School, a 2003 graduate of Brown University and a 2008 graduate of NYU Law School. She is an assistant public defender in Chatham County, N.C.
The bridegroom is the son of Caroline (Kaylo) Kinnett of Terre Haute and Nelson and Martha Kinnett of Indianapolis. He graduated from Terre Haute South Vigo High School in 2000, attended Indiana State University and is a certified nurse’s aide at UNC Hospital while pursuing a degree in respiratory therapy.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Amy Madonna Evans and Danielle Beach Garrison were honor attendants. April Thompson Anderson, Cecilia DeShong Cowart, Tamara Crepet, Jaclyn Kinnett, sister of the bridegroom, and Emily Timm were bridesmaids.
Marley Jane Anderson was the junior bridesmaid.
Stephen Westrich and Robert Rowe were best men. Brook Ellis, Ramzi Furman, Thomas Kinnebrew, brother of the bride, Jack Larson and Brooks Wilson were groomsmen.
Talon Kinnett, nephew of the bridegroom, was the ring bearer.
Joshua Anderson and Dylan Anderson were ushers.
A cocktail reception, dinner and dancing followed in The Cotton Room in Durham.
The couple took a wedding trip to Ocracoke Island in the Outer Banks, N.C., and now reside in Chapel Hill, N.C.
Majors-Seneviratne
Heather Majors and Nilanka Seneviratne were united in marriage on June 9, 2012, in Saint Francis Hall at Washington, D.C.
Bridgett Frey officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Gary and Terri Majors of Terre Haute.
Seneviratne is the son of Loke and Mani Seneviratne.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Kristina Majors, sister of the bride, was honor attendant.
Suren Seneviratne, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Andrew Majors, brother of the bride, was a groomsman.
A reception followed the ceremony. The couple will take a wedding trip to Sri Lanka at a later date. They now reside in Washington, D.C.
