Charlotte Ann Eldredge will celebrate her 100th birthday on Sept. 3 with a gathering of family and friends in the Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in Terre Haute.
Charlotte Sonnefield Eldredge was born in Terre Haute, on Sept. 3, 1912. A graduate of Indiana State Teachers College, she married the late Carlyle Eldredge and was employed at Columbia Records until her retirement in 1977. She and her husband traveled throughout the Southwest and Mexico in their RV for many years in an effort to escape the Midwest winters. She also looked forward to attending her husband’s Army reunion of World War II vets of the 16th Armored Division, where they met many friends and shared many memories.
Eldredge currently lives at The Wyndmoor in Terre Haute, where she plays bingo and entertains everyone with her stories. Cards are welcome and may be mailed to 1465 E. Crossing Blvd. No. 307, Terre Haute, IN 47802.
The event will be hosted by her niece, Anne Bailie, and her husband, Robert, of Prescott, Ariz. Also in attendance will be family members from California and friends from Kentucky.
