• The Clay County Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the lower level of the museum at 100 E. National Ave. in Brazil. The speaker will be State Rep. Nancy Michael, 44th District. The election of officers also will take place. The public is invited to attend. The museum will be closing for the winter. There are still a few Clay County afghans available for sale. These would make great Christmas gifts. There will be no membership meetings in January and February.
