WEDDINGS: Jan. 23, 2011

Long-Green

Jolene Marie Long and Paul Edward Green were united in marriage at 1 p.m. Oct. 2, 2010, in Cross Tabernacle Church.

The bride is the daughter of Lena Long of Clinton and Larry Long of Terre Haute. She is a 1995 graduate of West Vigo High School in West Terre Haute, a 2001 graduate of St. Mary-of-the-Woods College with a bachelor of arts degree, and 2007 graduate of Indiana State University with a master of arts degree. She is an adjunct English and theater instructor for Ivy Tech Community College.

Green is the son of Christina and Terry Green of Morgantown and a 2002 graduate of Indian Creek High School. He is a utility contractor for Duke Energy.

The Rev. Keith Taylor officiated. Salvation and Praise Dance Ministry ministered in special worship.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Amy Langham was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Carrie Long, sister of the bride, and Monica Baez-Holley, Schvalla Rivera, Cheyenne Poe, Quinette Tukes, Crystal Henke, Amanda Julian and Viola Contreras. Junior bridesmaids were Emma Green, niece of the bridegroom, and Hailey and Holley Henke.

Jared Paris was best man. Groomsmen were Joe Green, brother of the bridegroom, and Kyle Phillabaum, Chad Ridge, Josh Tinkler, TJ Vandeventer, Dan Vandeventer, Jay Jones and Richard Contreras. Junior groomsmen were Seth Ridge, Nick Henke and Kristofer Julian.

Luna Holley was flower girl. Chandler Ridge was ring bearer.

Suzanne Adams was guestbook attendant. Other ushers and attendants were Maddison Long, Heath Selph, Sarah Marie Johnson and Angel Johnson, cousins of the bride.

A reception followed in the Girl Scout Building.

French-Weddle



Katherine Elizabeth French and Clint Lee Weddle were united in marriage at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 14, 2010, during an outdoor ceremony at the Country Club of Terre Haute.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. Charles and Susan French of Brazil. She is a 2005 graduate of Northview High School in Brazil and a 2009 graduate of Indiana State University with a degree in public relations. She is the public relations and marketing director at French Funeral Home in Brazil.

Weddle is the son of Terry and Charlynn Weddle of Riley. He is a 1999 graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School and a 2003 graduate of Oakland City University with bachelor’s degrees in business management and business education. He is a 2005 graduate of Oakland City University with a master’s degree in scientific management. He is the associate head coach of the ISU women’s basketball program. 

 The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

 Shelby French, sister of the bride, and Shelly Langona were honor attendants. Mallory Miller, Molly Williams, Kayleigh Cope, Krystal Smith and Kristen Nasser, sister of the bridegroom, were bridesmaids.

 David Sutliff and Alan Goff were best men. Jason Toton, Mark Bilyeu, Jacob Cummings, Andy Higham and Cliff Weyer were groomsmen.

Nick French and Justin Garzolini, brothers of the bride, and Josh Pearson were ushers.

Anthony and Dominic Garzolini and Kaden French, nephews of the bride, were ring bearers.

Mia Garzolini was honorary flower girl.

A dinner and dance reception followed in the Country Club of Terre Haute.

The couple took a wedding trip to Florida and now reside in Terre Haute.
