Library to host a 2013 Year of the River Brown Bag

TERRE HAUTE — The Vigo County Public Library will host a 2013 Year of the River Brown Bag at 12:10 p.m. Thursday.

Learn about the year-long community partnership with presenters Mary Kramer from Art Spaces, Jon Robeson from Arts Illiana and Steve Letsinger from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

The three will review the programs and environmental initiatives being planned for the year.

Learn about the Year of the River website and the Year of the River kiosk. Pick up information about the TREES Photography Contest and The Big Read, both linked to the river theme. Share river memories, pictures and more on the library’s website.

No reservations are necessary and guests may bring a lunch. Contact Community Services at the Vigo County Public Library at 812-232-1116 for more information.
