Murray-Hunt


Karen Murray and Joshua Hunt, both of Terre Haute, were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009, in St. Raphael Catholic Church in Naperville, Ill.

Father Dindo Billote officiated. Tom Bajek String Quartet and Julie and Robert Frazier provided music.

The bride is the daughter of Barbara Murray of Oswego, Ill., and the late Robert Murray. She is a 2003 graduate of Naperville Central High School in Naperville, Ill., and earned a bachelor’s degree in 2007 from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Ill. She is pursuing a master’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University and is employed at Harsha Behavioral Center in Terre Haute.

The bridegroom is the son of Peggy and Gerry Hunt of Crawfordsville. He is a 2003 graduate of Bismarck-Henning High School in Bismarck, Ill., earned a bachelor’s degree in 2007 from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Ill., and has a master’s degree from Indiana State University. He is employed by the Social Security Administration in Terre Haute.

The bride was given in marriage by her mother.

Melissa Floress of Algonquin, Ill., was honor attendant. Amanda Drasutis of Algonquin, Lauren Gadzala of Naperville, Ill., Marcie Meyer of St. Louis, sister of the bridegroom, and Katie Strelzyk of Chicago, cousin of bride, were bridesmaids.

Kevin Hunt of Charleston, Ill., brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen were Jason Hunt of St. Peters, Mo., cousin of the bridegroom; Michael Packard of Bismarck; Brad Meyer of St. Louis, brother-in-law of the bridegroom; and Brian Murray of Oswego, brother of bride.

Tim and Matt Strelzyk of Chicago, cousins of bride, were ushers.

Bonnie Morris, aunt of the bridegroom, and Chris Strelzyk, aunt of the bride, read Scripture.

Katie Strelzyk and Brian Murray led prayer of the faithful.

A cocktail and dinner reception followed in Bolingbrook Golf Club at Bolingbrook, Ill.

Admit One provided music.

A late fall wedding trip to the Caribbean Islands is planned. The couple now reside in Terre Haute.



Roudebush-Gambill


Ashley E. Roudebush of Roanoake, Ind., and Naaman M. Gambill were united in marriage in 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009, in St. Paul’s Catholic Center in Bloomington.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Denise Roudebush of Roanoake and the late Kent Roudebush. She is a 2004 graduate of Huntington High School and a 2008 graduate of Indiana University with a photojournalism/German double major. She earned a master’s degree in education from IU in 2009 and now teaches German for District No. 46, Elgin High School in Elgin, Ill.

The bridegroom is the son of Bionca and Christopher Gambill of Terre Haute, a 2003 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School, and a 2007 graduate of Indiana University with a degree in secondary education. He teaches history for District No. 46, Elgin High School in Elgin.

A reception followed in the IU Auditorium.

A wedding trip is planned at a later date.
