Mr. and Mrs. Naylor

Bob and Vera (Moore) Naylor celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 1, 2013, during a surprise party in the American Legion Post at Newport.

The couple were married on Feb. 5, 1963, while Bob was on leave from the Army base in Munich, Germany.

Bob worked for 25 years for Stanley J. Clark Inc., and is retired from Stem International. Vera is retired after 33 years as executive secretary at Union Hospital in Clinton.

Hosts were the couple’s two children, Lindsie Beth Bowman, and Terry Wayne Naylor and his wife, Terra; and seven grandchildren, Cole, Zack, Kinlie, C.J., Trey, Landon and Mattox.

Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan

Mike and Margie Sullivan will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 23, 2013.

The Sullivans were married on Feb. 23, 1963, in Saint Ann’s Parish by Father Sansone.

Mike is retired from United Parcel Service after 31 years and the former Margie Kneisley Sullivan is a homemaker.

The couple have two daughters, Tracy and husband Brian Bellows of Minnesota, and Mechele Burns and fiancé Bruce Webb of Texas; five grandchildren, Brianna, Lydia and Kieffer Bellows, and Johnny and Olivia Burns.

A trip is planned at a later date. Cards and letters are welcome and may be mailed to 4665 E. Evans Ave., Terre Haute, IN 47805.
