TERRE HAUTE — ANNIVERSARY

• Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Dooley

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Dooley of Terre Haute will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on May 5, 2012. They will celebrate with Mass followed by a private party hosted by their children.

The couple were married May 5, 1962, in St. Joseph Church at Terre Haute by the Rev. Charles Zengle.

Mrs. Dooley, the former Cookie Thompson, is a retired teacher with Vigo County School Corp. Dooley is a retired chief executive officer of Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

The couple have two children, Tami Dooley Smith and husband Jimmy, and Mark Dooley and wife Shelly. They also have seven grandchildren.



ENGAGEMENTS

• Banfield-Tingley

Danielle Banfield and David Tingley of Indianapolis will be united in marriage at 4 p.m. EDT on May 19, 2012, in First United Methodist Church at Marshall, Ill.

A reception will follow in Harlan Hall at Marshall.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Debbie and Allan Banfield of Marshall, Ill. She is a 2003 graduate of Marshall High School and a 2009 graduate of Indiana State University with a master’s degree in communication disorders. She is a speech language pathologist at Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis.

Tingley is the son of Judy and Kent Tingley of West Union, Ill. He is a 1999 graduate of Marshall High School and a 2005 graduate of Indiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is a marketing manager at Republic National Distributing Co. in Indianapolis.

• Palmer-Peabody

Danielle M. Palmer of Brazil and Devin N. Peabody of Terre Haute will be united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 8, 2012, on the Deck at Mansfield.

Friends and relatives are invited.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Kathy and Mile Palmer of Brazil. She is a graduate of Northview High School and Harrold Beauty School, and is employed by Serendipity Salon.

Peabody is the son of Kim and Don Peabody of Terre Haute. He is a graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School and Danville Community College, and is employed by Barnes Construction.

• Rubeck-Carlton

Sandra Rubeck and James Carlton will be united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. June 30, 2012, in the First United Methodist Church at Brazil.

A dinner and dance reception will follow in the Renaissance at Brazil. It is requested that gifts be omitted but cards are welcome.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Juanita Boyce of Brazil and the late Richard D. Parks. She is a 1962 graduate of Brazil High School and a homemaker.

Carlton is the son of the late Rev. Samuel E. Carlton and Louise Carlton. He is a 1965 graduate of Brazil High School and owns Jim’s Barber Shop in Brazil.
