One-day grant-writing workshop scheduled

TERRE HAUTE — Steps for Success Respite and Advocacy Services in partnership with Grant Writing Success is offering a one-day grant writing workshop from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday in United Methodist Temple, 5301 S. U.S. 41.

Geared to beginners and semi-experienced grant writers, it will cover the grant-writing process, start to finish: finding grant opportunities; deciphering grant applications; organizing and writing a grant proposal; understanding the grant review process; resubmission; becoming a grant consultant; and more.

The president of Grant Writing Success, Greg Muller, will be presenting at the workshop. Muller has experience in every area of grant writing. Over the past 20 years his group has secured service dollars totaling more than $10 million, and become the “go-to” resource for grant writing training nationwide — helping others secure large and small grant funds.

He is a current board member of International Grant Writing Association. He has served on national review panels for Health and Human Services and Department of Education. He has been lead evaluator for more than 30 federally funded grant projects nationwide, including Alaska and Hawaii. He authored numerous books and grants-related publications, including “Get Your Kit Together!: The Grant Writing Kit.”

To register visit grantwritingsuccess.com and click on the Nov. 15 Terre Haute link, then the “click to register” button. A discounted cost of $60 (that includes lunch) can be obtained by clicking on the coupon and entering the code: STEPS189OFF.
