Socks for Seniors is an annual community service project that allows organizations to collect new socks to be distributed to elderly in nursing homes during the holidays.
The program, which began with Make A Difference Day on Oct. 27 and runs through Christmas, is seeking coordinators in the Wabash Valley to help with collecting socks.
Those who would like to get involved can host a sock drive by decorating a box where donations can be placed. To get involved visit www.socksforseniors.com/register.html.
