Pettit-Malone

Ashley Gayle Pettit and Alex Wayne Malone were united in marriage on Sept. 2, 2012, in the Grand Hall of the Indiana Landmarks Center in Indianapolis.  

The Rev. Tod Iseminger officiated. The Serafini String Quartet performed the music.

The bride is the daughter of Randy and Gayle Pettit. She is a 2010 graduate of Indiana University with degrees in journalism and communications and culture. She is a senior digital media planner for MediaCom Global in Chicago.

The bridegroom is the son of Debra Schroepfer and Mark Malone. He received a degree in business marketing from Indiana University’s Kelly School of Business in 2010. He is an associate brand manager for Dyson Inc. in Chicago.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Lauren Morris was honor attendant. Jessica Davis, Allie Johnson, Carol Yang, Erika Vaal and Kristen Malone, sister of the bridegroom, were bridesmaids. Payton Rapp and Kylie Rapp, cousins of the bridegroom, were flower girls. Kayla Black attended the guest registry. Jessica Davis was reader.

Adam Nallenweg was best man. Ryan Wolter, Chris Lemieux, Chad Miller, and Evan and Caleb Pettit, brothers of the bride, were groomsmen. Sean Justice, cousin of the bridegroom, served as usher.

A dinner and dance reception followed in the Cook Theater.

The bridesmaids hosted a party for the bride in Las Vegas prior to the wedding. The groomsmen hosted a trip to New Orleans for the bridegroom.  

The couple took a wedding trip to Costa Rica and now reside in Chicago.
