TERRE HAUTE —
Learn more about Wabash Valley Habitat for Humanity at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday during a meet-and-greet informational meeting at the Quality Inn, 555 S. Third St., in Terre Haute.
Habitat is about giving a “hand up, not a hand out” to partner families. Partner families pay a small down payment, work “sweat equity” hours, and then become mortgage and tax-paying citizens in our community when the home is completed.
Refreshments and a cash bar will be available at the meeting.
