Norman Wagner will be celebrating his 80th birthday from 2 to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Oregon Baptist Church Family Life Center, at Oregon Baptist Road, off U.S. 41 and Carlisle Road.

Guests are asked to bring memories, but no gifts.

Bob Bolling of Terre Haute, will celebrate his 90th birthday with an open house hosted by his family from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at United Methodist Temple, 5301 S. U.S. 41.

Friends and relatives are invited but asked to omit gifts. Cards and letters may be sent to 4300 S. Hidden Way St., Terre Haute, IN 47802.

Bolling was born in Sheldon, Ill., to Munson and Hazel Bolling. He is a retired U.S. Postal Service employee and professional square dance caller. He is a member of American Legion.

He married his wife, Jeanne, Sept. 1, 1943.

He has two daughters, Karen Phillips (who will also be observing her birthday) of Pimento and Melissa Shassere of Terre Haute; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

I have a good friend in an assisted living complex. She went to her doctor last winter and he told her she had to leave off the salt. My mother used this when dad couldn’t have any salt.
I like to keep this on hand. In summer when it’s real hot I keep in refrigerator. Keep in an air tight container.
