Mr. and Mrs. Edward Howaniec
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Howaniec of Terre Haute will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary on March 2, 2012.
The Howaniecs were married March 2, 1957, in St. Mary Catholic Church at Sullivan.
Mrs. Howaniec, the former Linda R. Phegley, was a nurse at Union Hospital. Howaniec is retired from television station WTHI.
The couple have one son, Edward J. Howaniec and wife Anita of Fort Wayne, and two grandsons.
ENGAGEMENT
Stiller-Zippay
Dr. and Mrs. Paul Schikora of West Terre Haute announce the approaching marriage of their daughter, Lindsey Jeanne Stiller, to Michael Edward Zippay, son of Edward and Luann Zippay of Bowling Green, Ohio.
The couple will be united in marriage on June 30, 2012, at the Lanier Mansion in Madison.
The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of West Vigo High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Southern Indiana with a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. She is a dental hygienist at Madison Family Dental in Madison.
Zippay is a graduate of the University of Toledo with a degree in biomedical engineering, and is employed by WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh, N.C.
WEDDINGS
Paree-Wright
Kimberly Paree and William Wright of Terre Haute were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 3, 2011, in the First Church of Christ at Georgetown, Ill.
Scott Zorn officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Lory and David Hackney of Ridge Farm, Ill. She holds an associate’s degree and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.
The bridegroom is the son of Bill and Beth Wright of Sullivan. He holds a bachelor’s degree and is employed by the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Terre Haute.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Christy Spencer of Danville, Ill., was honor attendant. Heidi, Ali and Makenzie Paree and Kaylee Wright, daughters of the bride, were bridesmaids.
Victor Manzo of Sullivan was best man. John Birk of Terre Haute, son of the bridegroom, Brady Wright of Sullivan, Lucas Conner of Chicago, brother of the bride, and Tanner Wright of Sullivan, son of the bridegroom, were groomsmen.
Mike Conner of Terre Haute, brother of the bride, and Treyton Wilson of Sullivan, nephew of the couple, were ushers.
Emma Dawson was flower girl. Carter Krage, grandson of the couple, was ring bearer.
A reception followed in the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post at Danville, Ill.
The couple took a wedding trip to Sandals Grande in St. Lucia and now reside in Terre Haute.
King-Gayso
Danielle Marie King and Adam Aaron Gayso of Terre Haute were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 24, 2011, in Terre Haute First Baptist Church.
The Rev. Bernie Jackson officiated. Susan Sneddon provided music.
The bride is the daughter of Lois and Terry King of Terre Haute. She is a 2009 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School and a housekeeper at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.
The bridegroom is the son of Brenda and Joe Gayso, and a cafeteria server at Union Hospital.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Krystal Griffith was honor attendant. Kristen Marina, Marita Hughes and Brianna Jackson were bridesmaids.
Nate Boland was best man. Justin Plank, Matthew McBride and David Boland were groomsmen.
Jeremy King and Josh Gayso were ushers.
Adia and Lyric Sutton were flower girls. Bryler Boland was ring bearer.
A reception followed the ceremony.
The couple took a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., and now reside in Terre Haute.
