Clark County Senior Expo set

MARSHALL, ILL. — The Clark County Senior Expo will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 11 at the Marshall First Christian Church. The Expo is open to all seniors in the Wabash Valley.  

A program will be presented by Amy Corbin of SAIL and Brian Jaeger of the Marshall Police Department. In addition, entertainment will be provided by a group of Marshall Elementary students and Ken Strieby.

Several local businesses and organizations will have exhibits on display, and door prizes will be given. Blood pressure and cholesterol screenings will be offered, and flu shots will be available for a small fee. Lunch is available for a donation of $4.50.

 Seniors should call the Clark County Extension Office at 217-826-5422 to register no later than Wednesday (to reserve a meal).  

Exhibitors are also being sought. Any business or organization interested in participating should contact the Extension office by Wednesday.  

The event is sponsored by the University of Illinois Extension, the Clark County Federal Housing Authority and the Senior Diner’s Club.
