Smith Cemetery restoration workshop coming up

TERRE HAUTE — From 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 5, the Wabash Valley Genealogy Society will be sponsoring a cemetery restoration workshop (weather permitting) at the Smith Cemetery in Honey Creek Township in Vigo County.

Brad Manzenberger, the owner of Stone Revival Cemetery Restoration of Franklin, will lead the workshop. During the workshop, participants will learn about Indiana laws on cemetery care and access.

The registration fee is $10 for WVGS members and $15 for non-members. Advance registration is required. To register online, visit www.inwvgs.org.
