Megan K. Hollen and Daniel Alan Smith were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 18, 2008, in Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Aaron Wheaton officiated. The Rev. Joe Hollen, grandfather of the bride, provided readings. Soloists Curtis Barcus, grandfather of the bride, and Curtis Zehner, cousin of the bride, provided music.
The bride is the daughter of Debra and William Hollen of Worthington, Ind. She attends the University of Detroit/Mercy, majoring in psychology.
The bridegroom is the son of Karen and Richard Smith of Lansing, Mich. He is employed by TRW at Livonia, Mich.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Katie Hollen, sister of the bride, was honor attendant. Jenny Zehner, cousin of the bride, Mary Fuson, Beth Lammers and Sarah Brawley were bridesmaids.
Susan Smith, the bridegroom’s sister, was his honor attendant.
Jacob Hollen, brother of the bridegroom, Joel Wendt, Jake Chapman and J.J. Zeilstra were best men. Curtis Zehner and David Fuson were ushers.
Hannah Taylor and Ainsley Sawyer were flower girls. Grace Fuson was guest book attendant.
A dinner reception followed in the Ohio Building.
Susan Fuson was hostess of a wedding shower in her home, assisted by Tracy Hines, aunt of the bride, and Donna Barcus, grandmother of the bride.
The couple took a wedding trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and now reside in Livonia.
