Kerns-Marshall


Donna Marie Kerns and Bradley Richard Marshall were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, 2008, during a private beach ceremony at Wailae Beach Park in Kahala, Hawaii.

The Rev. Karen Russ officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Donna and Timothy Kerns of Terre Haute and a registered nurse at Union Hospital.

The bridegroom is the son of Rita and Douglas Marshall of Terre Haute and a member of Heat and Frost Insulators Union, Local 18 of Indianapolis.

The bride was given in marriage by Beau Smith, the couple’s son.

Rita Marshall and Chrissy John were honor attendants. Bernice Gabbard was bridesmaid.

Father of the bridegroom was best man. Derek Marshall, the bridegroom’s brother, was groomsman.

A reception followed on Aug. 23, 2008, at the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 157 Recreation Hall.

Music was provided by Stone Wheel Orchestra.

A wedding shower was given by Chrissy John, Bernice Gabbard, Donna Kerns and Rita Marshall on June 21, 2008.

The couple took a wedding trip to Oahu and Maui, Hawaii, and now reside in Terre Haute.



Haynes-Savage


Heather Rae Haynes and Steven Franklin Savage, both of Nashville Tenn., were united in marriage Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, in Two Rivers Mansion at Nashville.

The bride is the daughter of Debbie and Raymond Haynes of Shepardsville. She is a graduate of West Vigo High School in West Terre Haute and Indiana University in Bloomington.

The bridegroom is the son of Ann and Jerry Savage of McMinnville, Tenn.
