Weddings: Sept. 28, 2008

Boyd-Neubert


Kylah Lynn Boyd and Preston Allen Neubert, both of Indianapolis, were united in marriage on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008, at Deming Park in Terre Haute.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, who also gave the wedding talk.

The bride is the daughter of Kandi and Harry Boyd from Hillsdale. She is a 2005 graduate of North Vermillion Junior-Senior High School, a graphic arts graduate of Danville Area Community College and is pursuing a degree in web site development at Ivy Tech Community College.

The bridegroom is the son of Tonya Neubert of Georgetown, Ill., and the late Chris Neubert. He is a 2005 graduate of Georgetown Ridgefarm High School and is pursuing a degree in computer science at ITT Technical Institute in Indianapolis.

Kaloni Neuber, sister of the bridegroom, and Kelbe Boyd, sister of the bride, were wedding attendants.



Markham-Grimes


Jessica A. Markham and Adam J. Grimes were united in marriage at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008, in the couple’s home.

The Rev. Gary Greven officiated.

The bride is the daughter of JoVonna and Robert Hogan of Rockville. She is self-employed as a licensed message therapist at Price Chiropractic.

The bridegroom is the son of Linda and Guy Johnson and Dennis and Cathy Grimes, all of Terre Haute. He owns A.G. Financial Services.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Nicolas Grimes, son of the bridegroom, and Benjamin Markham, son of the bride, were groomsmen.

An outdoor reception followed the ceremony.

The couple took a wedding trip to the Bahamas and now reside in Terre Haute.



Guenzel-King


Nicole Suzanne Guenzel of Terre Haute and Christopher Thomas King of Columbus, Ohio, were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30 2008, in St. Patrick Catholic Church at Terre Haute.

The Rev. Rick Ginther officiated. Music was provided by guitarist and vocalist Wes Reed, vocalists Kristi Reed and Denise Kelly, and pianist Larysa Tudorica.

The bride is the daughter of Debbi and Mark Guenzel of Terre Haute. She has a bachelor's degree in accounting and is a branch administrator for The Brickman Group in Columbus.

The bridegroom is the son of Sharon and Brian Rice of Terre Haute and the late Jeffrey Alan King. He has a bachelor’s degree in general studies with minors in computer science and management. He is an assistant operations manager for Leaders Moving Co. in Columbus.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Megan Guenzel was honor attendant. Laura Warfield, Allison Hottinger, Amber Skeel and Jennifer Cline were bridesmaids.

Bill Baldridge was best man. Joe Kratzat, Cory Isom, Blake Weishaar and Mike Wiley were groomsmen.

Shawn King and Anthony Guenzel were ushers.

Hailey Walden and Madalyn Wickens were flower girls. Lukas Gaither and Austin King were ring bearers.

A reception followed in the Holiday Inn at Terre Haute.

Bridal showers were given by friends and bridesmaids on June 29 in Indianapolis, and by Becky Giltz, Joyce Nichols and Nancy Johnson on Aug. 3 in Terre Haute.

The couple took a wedding trip Sept. 1-6 to Sandals Royal Caribbean in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and now reside in Columbus.
