Spay-Neuter Services expanding reach across state

Spay-Neuter Services of Indiana uses funds from the sale of the new Indiana “Pet Friendly” license plate, launched in 2011, to provide financial assistance to qualifying Hoosiers to help them spay or neuter their pets. SNSI does this work in partnership with participating veterinarians, who agree to be compensated at reduced rates.

With Pet Friendly license plate sales at more than 7,500, SNSI is expanding its reach across the state of Indiana. Counties in particular need of veterinary coverage are: Carroll, Clinton, Delaware, Jasper, Miami, Newton, Pike, Pulaski, Starke, Vermillion and White.

Veterinarians in all counties of Indiana are urged to help, and those interested can get more information by calling SNSI at (317) 767-7771 or by visiting get

themfixed.org.

Hoosier motorists interested in supporting the mission of SNSI can purchase a Pet Friendly license plate at mybmv.com/specialty.

Spay-Neuter Services of Indiana Inc. is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to eliminate the killing of healthy and treatable cats, dogs, puppies and kittens by providing spay/neuter surgical fee assistance through partnerships with private practice veterinarians and low-cost clinics, collaborating with other animal welfare organizations and promoting humane education.
