Anniversaries: Sept. 9, 2012

Mr. and Mrs. Brent E. Robertson

Mr. and Mrs. Brent E. Robertson of Carmel, and formerly of Terre Haute, will celebrate their 50th anniversary. They were married on Oct. 6, 1962, at First Baptist Church in Terre Haute.

Mrs. Robertson was formerly Diane Bandy.

The Robertsons will celebrate with a trip to Costa Rica. Their children and families will honor them with a reception on Oct. 7 in Indianapolis.

The Robertsons have two sons, Brent Jr. (Mary) of Indianapolis and David (Amy) of Memphis, Tenn. They have two granddaughters, Shelby and Janie.

Brent retired from Michelin Tire Corp., North America. Diane retired from the medical administration field.



Mr. and Mrs. Bill Worley

Bill and Joan Worley celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 3, 2012, with family and friends. They renewed their marriage vows on Aug. 5 at the Life Center Four Square Church, 3000 College Ave.

Bill retired from PSI/Duke Energy in 1984 and Joan retired from Old National Bank in 1994.

They have a son, Brian, and daughter-in-law Danielle Worley and two grandchildren, Justin and Kacie.



Mr. and Mrs. Reese C. Clapp

Reese and Norma Clapp of Terre Haute, formerly of Oakland, Ill., celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a small family gathering. The couple were married in a civil ceremony on Aug. 28, 1952, in Terre Haute. Dear friends Cecil and Opal Hester were attendants.

Norma worked at the Kroger Company, Woolco, Standard Register as the lunch room assistant, and is a homemaker. Reese is retired after working 20 years with the Kroger Company and 20 years at Pillsbury in Terre Haute.

The couple attends World Gospel Church and have been active in several senior activities in Terre Haute.

Reese and Norma have six children, Peggy Cline and husband Don of Paris, Ill., Doug Clapp of Terre Haute, Leonard Clapp and wife Sun of Rockville, Rebecca Clapp of Terre Haute, Paula Ray and Carl of Mason, Ohio, and the late Vincent Clapp. They have 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Reese and Norma reside at 4211 N. 16th St., Terre Haute, IN 47805. They would love to receive your cards and blessings.
