Terre Haute North Vigo High School students will feature their singing, dancing and acting talents in the production of the rockin’ musical “Bye Bye Birdie” next weekend in the school’s auditorium.

Many are familiar with the three interwoven tales involved in William Shakespeare’s still-popular work, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” This summer at Indiana State University’s Crossroads Repertory Theatre, however, the familiar takes a new twist: director Chris Berchild has moved the characters to 1890s Paris in the setting of the Moulin Rouge.
