Clay City pulled within a half game of first-place Linton in the SouthWestern Indiana Athletic Conference with a 53-50 boys high school basketball victory Friday.
Trevor Singer paced the Eels (12-7, 6-2 SWIAC) with 14 points.
Dess Fougerousse and Austin Karazsia had 18 points apiece for the Miners.
