Rockville won its first girls high school golf match of the season Tuesday with a season-best score.
The Rox defeated West Vigo 214-251 at The Landing course.
Juniors Jerica Carrington and Megan Riffe each had 52 for the Rox to take medalist honors. Sophomore Ciara McClain led the Vikings with a career-best 56.
Both teams have home matches Thursday and West Vigo will be in the Western Indiana Conference tournament Saturday.
