Jones, Kaperak leading Show-Me's Two-Man Best-Ball

TERRE HAUTE — Tom Jones and Ted Kaperak are the leaders of the Show-Me's Two-Man Best-Ball tournament after one round.

Jones and Kaperak went 30-31 to card an 11-under-par 61 in their round at Hulman Links and have a four-shot lead over the second-place duo going into today's final 18 holes at Rea Park in the first Terre Haute Golf Association event of the season.

Blayd Horrall and Denny Byram are in second place with 65, going 33-32. They are one up on three teams.

Those teams bunched at 66 are Troy Weber and Mark Bird, Mark Neaderhiser and Dave Brown, Dave Nasser and Abe Nasser Jr.

The field has been grouped into four flights for the final round. Three teams share the first-flight lead after shooting 69 at Hulman Links.
