UPDATE: Indiana State WR Berman invited to Redskins’ mini-camp
TERRE HAUTE — Carl Berman, Indiana State’s leading receiver last season, has been invited to the Washington Redskins’ mini-camp this week and has not signed a contract with the team, said the school, clairifying its announcement Tuesday.
Berman, who was not selected in the NFL draft last weekend, will report to the Redskins’ mini-camp on Thursday.
He caught 59 passes for 783 yards and four touchdowns last season for the Sycamores.
