The event welcomes the senior public to hear a doctor of the month present an educational topic while enjoying a complimentary meal. Each doctor has donated this time in effort to listen, hear and answer medical questions. Various community businesses also participate by donating door prizes and funds to cover expenses.

At Tuesday’s Dine with a Doc Dr. Charles Rutan, OD, of Advantage EyeCare at 224 Elm St. in  Clinton will be the speaker.

All types of contact lenses are filled by Rutan, including lenses that correct astigmatism, overnight corneal refraction therapy (CRT) lenses and bifocal contact lenses. His office (Advantage EyeCare) offers CO-management for the laser correction surgery and cataract surgery as well.

A question/answer period will follow Rutan’s discussion. Lunch will be provided by Westridge Health Care Center.

There will be an opening prayer and devotion at the beginning of the program. Westridge Healthcare will offer a free wellness clinic to assist with blood pressure screening at each of the programs monthly.
