TERRE HAUTE — Nominations are now being accepted for the for the Terre Haute South Vigo High School Class of 2010 Hall of Distinction, according to Dan Wunderlich, co-chairman of the Hall of Distinction committee.
Nominations will be accepted through Dec. 18.
The Hall of Distinction was created in 2002 to honor former students, current and former staff members and supporters of the school.
Among those honored over the past five years are Danny Tanoos, Vigo County School Corp. superintendent; Cam Cameron, former head coach of the National Football League’s Miami Dolphins; Dan McGrath and William Youman, former South teachers; Jill Bolte Taylor, nationally known researcher on the human brain; and Joey Cantillo, Hollywood actor.
The Class of 2010 will be honored the weekend of April 17 and 18 with ceremonies at the school and a dinner at the Country Club of Terre Haute.
