TERRE HAUTE — Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to help solve the mystery of VIC TUM’s murder from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Vigo County Public Library, Seventh and Poplar streets.
View a crime scene, get autopsy results straight from Dr. Pepper and study the evidence offered by Police Officer McGibbs during “Double Dose,” an Original Teen Mystery. Participants should bring a flashlight.
All participants will receive a free mystery book, courtesy of the Friends of the Vigo County Public Library, and enjoy refreshments. A door prize of two tickets to Community Theatre’s play “Late of This Address” will be given away.
Doors open at 6:15 p.m.; parents should arrive at 8:30 p.m. for pickup. Registration is required; call the Young People’s Department at (812) 232-1113, ext. 294. This teen event is sponsored by the Friends of the Vigo County Public Library. The original mystery was written by teen members of the library’s Teen Advisory Board.
