Robinson, Ill. — Area students are invited to learn more about Lincoln Trail College programs and those of area colleges, universities and branches of the military during College Day conducted from 9 to 11 a.m. Nov. 4 in the LTC Sports Center.
Among the institutions scheduled to attend this year’s event are Lincoln Trail College, Olney Central College, Wabash Valley College, Ashford University, Blackburn College, Columbia College-Chicago, Eastern Illinois University, Eureka College, Grand Canyon University, Greenville College, Illinois College, Illinois State University, IUPUI, Lake Land College, Lakeview College of Nursing, Lindenwood University-Belleville, Linn State Technical College, McKendree University, Millikin University, Nashville Auto Diesel College, Northwest Missouri State University, Oakland City University, Quincy University, Ranken Technical College, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville, St. Joseph’s College, St. Louis University, St. Mary-of-the-Woods College, The Art Institutes, United States Air Force Academy, University of Evansville, University of Illinois at Springfield, University of Illinois Urbana/Champaign, University of Southern Indiana, and Western Illinois University.
Other organizations attending include the Illinois Army National Guard and the Illinois Student Assistant Commission.

Riverton Parke student Voice of Democracy finalist
Riverton Parke junior Heath Rohr became the school’s first state finalist in the Voice of Democracy contest, sponsored each year by the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Rohr, the son of Jodi and Anthony Rohr of Montezuma, finished fourth in the Indiana contest and was honored at a banquet in Indianapolis on Jan. 14.
